Internet TV project:

Client:
 www.echotv.pl is an institution with desire to promote educational contents in a form of internet TV. Form and message of this TV channels should be understood even by average persons without scientific background. Lectures can be led by professionals – people professionally connected with the subject of those channels or specific programs. Besides movies also articles will be available.

Client’s need:
Client wanted to create internet TV in a light and esthetic form, not overloaded with graphical effects but elegant and intuitive. “Intuitive” in the meaning that even “fresh” internet user would be able to navigate through it.
Client’s order concerned a complete system for management of that project - Not only the part that an internet user will see, but also complete technical background (resources) connected with broadcasting, content administration, and statistics.

Our solution:
Our graphic artist had asked Client to give him a list of addresses of websites that he liked, to find something that connects them - the thing that made Client to like them although he may not even know what it was. Afterwards, we made graphical prototype based on the preliminary analysis of Client’s requirements. After our Client had accepted the prototype it was divided into single, basic elements, that were placed on the webpage. Parallel to graphical works a usability study have been conducted. It led us (with full cooperation from Client’s side) to creation of software project. The rest was just coupling the project with graphical interface.
